PRESS RELEASE........26/10/2020 NATIONAL CONCERNED DRIVERS ASSOCIATION OF GHANA OKADA TO VEHICLE PROMISE ,RAMPANT SOD CUTTING IS A PLOY TO AMASS VOTE.

Ladies and gentlemen of the press, recently Ghana have witnessed several sod-cutting ceremonies  for the commencement of various road projects across the country by the President, Akufo-Addo and other officials of government.

This sod-cuttings by the government as election approaches is ‘Sakawa’ and 419 and not 4 more for Nana, our checks has confirmed that, the source of funding for these projects is non-existent.

The 2020 budget approved by parliament did not capture any of these 419 sod cutting projects by the 419 NPP government.

We are pleading to the Commander in Chief of sod cutting Nana Akuffo Addo to extend his sod cutting deceit onto the Sea and probably add Togo to it,we will not fall for this cheap deceit and lazy approach from the camp of the presidency. since he is done on our roads.

The rampant 419 sod cutting has added up to the numerous pot holes we have on our roads across the country.

We are not going allow any politician to play tricks with us with empty rhetorics and propaganda promises.

Ladies and gentlemen,in the people's manifesto of the national Democratic Congress (NDC),it is stated that, the NDC will legalise OKADA when voted into power, this message has brought back lashes from the rulling NPP.

Today, the NPP has made a U turn meeting the OKADA riders association in circle Dubia trying to decieve them with a 419 promise of giving them cars.

Ladies and gentlemen, according to the chairman of the OKADA riders association, their membership is over five hundred thousand .

The question is will the NPP government provide cars for all of these people?

Which lorry stations will they operate from?

How many lorry stations has the NPP built?

How many road network have they built?

So you see,in reality it's a scam and another 419 strategy by the NPP.

Ladies and gentlemen of the the press, the least said about our roads the better, Potholes have graduated to manholes and pits.

With this we are calling on all drivers Union  to be vigilant in choosing a ruler coming 2020 elections, a word to a wise is enough.
